Meiga Asian supermarket opening in Port Moody next month

Port Moody’s new Asian supermarket, Meiga, is set to officially open on February 3!

Georgia Main, the parent company of Meiga, IGA, and Fresh St. Market run by BC’s Louie family, announced the opening of their first Asian grocer in December. Now they’ve unveiled details around the opening – here’s what you need to know.

Meiga Port Moody Opening

When: Saturday, February 3

Where: 221 Ioco Road, Port Moody

Opening day specials:

• Traditional Lions Dance at 10:30am to usher in good luck

• First 188 customers will receive a $20 Meiga gift card

• Food samplings and tastings throughout the day

• dim sum
