šŸ½ Time to say goodbye

Plus the best pho, Gordon Ramsay, a new Indian spot, hidden falafels, and more!

Hey foodies!

The most clicked thing last week was our list of some of the best ramen spots in the TCs.

Sticking on the soup theme, today weā€™re dropping some of the best pho spots. Youā€™ll see more on that below.

But first ā€“Ā are you a pomelo fan? I scored two jumbo ones (well, arenā€™t they all jumbo?) at T&T Lougheed for $6 (theyā€™re on sale for $1-2 off). Eating one pomelo is basically like eating 3 oranges. Which you probably shouldnā€™t do in one sitting.

Anyways. Forks at the ready.

P.S. Thanks for taking our poll last week! Everyone pretty much said the same thing ā€“Ā give us more restaurant recommendations. So.. weā€™ll do that šŸ™‚Ā

P.P.S. Would love it if you could share our newsletter with some friends!

SAYING GOODBYE

Farewell, Kam Ding

šŸ“·ļøĀ Kristina Lee

A couple weeks ago, word starting going around that Kam Ding, beloved local dim sum cart spot, would be closing down as their owner was set to retire.

Yesterday was their last day, and locals flocked over the past week to share one last meal and say goodbye.

Seems like everyone had the same idea though, and long lineups meant many couldnā€™t get in!

šŸ“·ļøĀ Connie Louie

ā€œI love their old school dim sum cart - hard to find this in the Lower Mainland now. The excitement of the server opening each steamed basket to reveal its content is what makes this place unique, along with warm friendly service. A true Coquitlam gem that will be missed,ā€ Ina posted.
