The Greater Vancouver Hot Chocolate Festival is back for another deliciously decadent year!

Running for its 14th year from January 13 to February 14, the 2024 festival boasts over 160 hot chocolates from over 100 locations around Metro Vancouver, including 5 from around the Tri-Cities.

There is a lot to see and drink, so this handy virtual map on the festival’s website can help you navigate your sugar highs.

  • #26 - A Bear Necessity: Spicy cayenne and caramel infused hot chocolate topped with whipped cream and caramel. Served with a shortbread cookie shaped like a bear covered in delicious sprinkles.

  • #27 - Bjorn The Bear: Dark chocolate orange hot chocolate topped with whipped cream and chocolate decor. Served with a dark chocolate biscotti filled with orange zest and toasted hazelnuts.

  • #41 - Cocoasis: Step into a lush world of flavour with our terrarium-inspired Cocoasis! This lush creation is a harmonious blend of rich cocoa and velvety steamed milk, topped and served with a decadent green 'moss' crumb and cake. Every sip and bite is an escape to a cozy corner of nature's embrace. Sip, savor, and escape into the enchanting world of this indulgent treat. Served with a Green 'Moss' Cake, a delightful masterpiece that pairs harmoniously with our rich and velvety hot chocolate. This whimsical creation not only captivates the eye with its deep green allure but also enchants the palate with a perfect balance of sweetness.

  • #42 - Popping Party: This velvety cocoa creation dances on your taste buds, inspired by the lively energy of festivals and parties! Topped with popping candy for a burst of excitement. It's a celebration eve. Served with a rice crispy treat ring, a perfect companion to this rich hot chocolate. Snap & crackle meet popping candy in this delightful duo meant to amuse and astonish your tastebuds!

  • #52 - Everything But The Kitchen Sink: Caramelized white hot chocolate adorned with whipped cream, caramel drizzle and crushed pretzels. Served with a dessert flight containing one mini fudge brownie, one mini brown butter chocolate chip cookie, one mini cupcake, and one mini macaron.

  • #53 - Sugar Cookie Sprinkle Shaker: An interactive raspberry white hot chocolate with whipped cream and a cookie shaker to crack open and sprinkle the party on your hot chocolate. On the side is a sugar cookie filled with sprinkles for you to break open.

  • #47 - Undercover Boss: Amaretto crunch hot chocolate made with our handcrafted hot chocolate ganache amaretto-infused milk, topped with fresh whipped cream and chocolate covered cannoli crunch, ganache drizzle, and a mini cannoli (with or without amaretto liquor).

    Served with an amaretto cookie.

  • #48 - The Sicilian Orchestra: Raspberry pistachio hot chocolate layered with our handcrafted pistachio cream, raspberry swirl with raspberry infused milk, fresh whip, pistachio and raspberry drizzle.

    Served with a half-pistachio and half-raspberry mini cannoli.

  • #59 - Acapulco Doughnut Love: Mexican hot chocolate made with Callebaut dark chocolate melted with steamed milk and a touch of added heat from cinnamon and chili. Served with a housemade Churro.
