Get a fully loaded corndog at these three Tri-Cities spots
You haven't seen corndogs like this before
Who knew so much could be done with the humble corndog?
There are three spots around the Tri-Cities that have been coming up with some downright delicious creations—and with a presentation that will entice anyone who may be hesitant to join in on the deep-fried hot dog hype.
We went to each of the three local restaurants to try out what they’ve got on offer so that you’ll know exactly what to order if you want to have a taste for yourself!

At Arirang Hot Dog in Coquitlam’s Henderson Place Mall we tried out the Oreo topped with condensed milk. You might not think cookie + corndog would make for a winning combo, but the strange mixture of flavours actually worked (in our eyes, at least!).

At Tokki we tried the Cheesy Monster Bat topped with ketchup, spicy mayo, and sweet chilli. The name was no joke—this thing was a monster with so much going on both inside and outside the dog. It would likely be more at home at a fair than in a food court… but the same could probably be said for any corndog, if we’re being real.

If you’re looking for a classic corndog, this is the place to go. We had the potato corndog, which was a little less flashy than the other two we tried, but no less delicious, with a crispy crunch we won’t soon forget.
Address: 2755 Lougheed Hwy. #25, Port CoquitlamHours: 11am to 11pm (11:30am to 10:30pm on Sundays)
While all spots were well worth the trip, we’d rank our favourites as follows:
Arirang's Oreo Corndog
Heathstone’s Potato Corndog
Tokki’s Cheesy Monster Bat
