There’s a new patisserie on the Tri-Cities scene

There’s no better time than the holidays for some tasty treats, and there’s no better place to get them than at a brand new patisserie.

Luckily enough for anyone near Coquitlam’s Lansdowne Drive, they won’t have to go far to snag some scrumptious bites at the newly opened Pourquoi Pas Patisserie & Cafe.

The pastry shop offers a wide (and quite colourful!) selection of French-inspired treats, including cakes, cookies, truffles, and much more.

According to a recent Instagram post, the soft open will run from Tuesday, Dec. 20 to Saturday, Dec. 24, and Tuesday, Dec. 27 to Saturday, Dec. 31… or until sold out.

“Thank you so much to all who have supported and encouraged me from the very beginning,” reads a note from the cafe’s Instagram.

“What a wild year it has been and your kindness, help and encouragement has been everything. I’m so happy to bring my vision to our community and share what I love about pastry and amazing coffee. Thank you to our very small but mighty team for your hard work yesterday. We did it!”
