PK's Cafe is the perfect place for a filling brunch

What do you do when half the group wants to get a classic, Canadian breakfast, and the rest want to try something a little more exotic?

Split up and go to separate restaurants? Absolutely not!

Head over to PK’s Cafe, which serves everything from eggs and bacon to pancake tacos to Thai-style onion omelets.

The brunch spot can be found on Port Coquitlam’s Prairie Avenue right between Med-X Pharmacy and Ink & Honey Tattoo Shop.

We dined there recently with a group, and got to sample a wide range of the menu, ordering the classic breakfast, classic pancakes, burger, and the Thai-style chicken with rice and salad—which was our favourite, but everything on the table was quite good.

What’s more is that PK’s prices are refreshingly reasonable, with the classic breakfast (two eggs any style, two strips of bacon, choice of sausage or ham, and truffle lemon potatoes and toast) going for just $9.95.
