Morning Tide Eatery makes for the perfect brunch spot

Brunch is, in our humble opinion, the most important meal of the day.

So you’d better make sure that you’re choosing the right spot when combining the comfort of breakfast, the casualness of lunch, and the celebration of having a mimosa before noon.

Luckily for those of us in the Tri-Cities, Morning Tide Eatery provides all three.

With an extensive menu including specials, bennies, handhelds, bowls, smoothies, sweets, and much more, Morning Tide Eatery also adds a hint of the owners’ Asian roots, with specialties like a longanisa sandwich and a bicol express rice bowl.

“As parents of three young and energetic boys who still try to enjoy dining out, [the owners] know the struggles of long drives and even longer waits that come with experiencing brunch in the city,” reads the restaurant’s about page.

“Determined to create a new option for casual, quality brunch, the couple embarked on a journey for their fourth child–Morning Tide Eatery.”

We checked out the spot and had the breakfast bowl and the brisket sandwich alongside the condensed milk latte and the ube latte, with both dishes being as delightful as they looked!

You can find Morning Tide Eatery at #8, 228 Schoolhouse St. in Coquitlam, and its hours are Wednesday to Sunday 10am to 3pm.
