Milaap Indian Kitchen is a welcome addition to Coquitlam’s food scene

This new Indian restaurant in Coquitlam packs in some serious flavour.

Milaap Indian Kitchen opened its doors in Coquitlam this past week (and was generous enough to give us an ETC exclusive promo code, which you can find in the newsletter), and to say that we’re excited would be an understatement.

Those living in the area know that it’s hard to find good Indian cuisine without going too far, so Milaap’s opening provides the opportunity not just to support local, but to enjoy some stunning dishes right here in town.

While the food itself was delicious (with some generous portion sizes, to say the least), Milaap also shines in the comfortable, at-home feel of its cozy, well-decorated interior.

And, of course, owner Manish Petwal and his staff were wonderful—you could feel the excitement in the air about the grand opening.

We tried the honey garlic cauliflower and the Butterica with rice, but we’re sure any choice on Milaap’s extensive menu would lead to an equally delicious experience.

This is definitely a place we’ll be heading back to. And soon.
