Live it up at Port Moody’s Livelyhood by catching some live and local music
Golden Spike who?
Who’s down to get a little lively?
Port Moody’s Livelyhood has revamped a space once known as the Golden Spike into a spot full of music, light, and memorable libations.
Walking into the restaurant, you’re met with huge hanging plants, a cozy-yet-cool aesthetic, and, if you show up on the right day, live music by local musicians.
When we popped by to check out the place we ordered a mango mai tai, which was made with Flor de Cana 7 rum, mango, pineapple, lime, orgeat, and Goslings rum float.
The drink was as dazzling to the senses as the stunning setting.
Swing by the spot on Sundays for its Lively Sessions from 5pm to late, and while reservations are recommended, you may be able to snag a table as a walk-in if you’ve got luck on your side.
