Koreana Korean Restaurant is THE place to go for hotpot
There’s no better way to warm yourself up this winter!
The start of a new year might mean some warm optimism about what’s to come, but the weather is still cold cold cold.
So there’s really no better place to warm your stomachs and spirits than Coquitlam’s Koreana Korean Restaurant, which is well-known for its huge hotpots.
We tried the marinated beef hotpot with potato noodles and vegetables (pictured above is the “small” size, if you can believe it), along with the bibimbap in a hot stone bowl, boiled port with a salty sauce and wrapped in vegetables, and some rice wine.
The entire table’s worth of dishes was delicious, and the portion sizes were generous, to say the least.
A definite standout was the boiled pork with lettuce wraps, and there were plenty of other options on the menu that will see us return to try them out sooner rather than later.
And it definitely doesn’t hurt that the location is incredibly accessible, just up the street from the Lougheed Town Centre SkyTrain station.
Address: 1001 Austin Ave. #101, Coquitlam Hours: 11:30am to 10:30pm
