A new plant-based grocery, smoothie, and burger bar just opened in Port Moody
Here’s what you need to know about Kokomo
If you’re looking for a healthy-yet-delicious bite to eat, Kokomo is the new place to Koko-go.
The smoothie bar/burger spot opened in Port Moody earlier this month, and has brought the sunshine with it—even in these snowy December days. The plant-based eatery features a bright, open, well-lit space that will replenish that vitamin D deficiency in no time, and has the nutrient-rich menu items to pair with it.
Don’t believe us? Just take a read of its website: “We are on a pursuit to bring the energy and warmth of summer to your daily life through fresh, nourishing, plant-based bowls, a sun-filled space and our gratitude for you.”
Kokomo offers a wide variety of bowls and salads (we had the laksa, chickpea curry, almond noodle, and lush greens, and they were all as delicious as they look), along with smoothies, wraps, and various pastries.
The Port Moody location—which can be found at 3-121 Brew St.—is the third for the restaurant group, with the others being found in Vancouver at Vine Street and Gore Avenue, as well as on North Vancouver’s Edgemont Boulevard.
Check out Kokomo Port Moody from 9am to 7pm, daily.
