This Port Moody spot offers some seriously gourmet cooking classes
Eden West Gourmet offers everything from cooking classes to charcuterie boxes
The pandemic made it obvious that if you wanted quality cooking, you either needed to rack up quite the Uber Eats bill... or learn how to do it yourself.
And the recent inflation has made it even more clear that the former is not a very sustainable option.
Luckily for those of us who aren't all that culinarily inclined, there are places other than Nonna's kitchen where we can learn how to make some delicious meals that will impress the guests we're finally allowed to have over—and Eden West Gourmet is at the forefront of that education.
Located in Port Moody a short walk away from Rocky Point, Eden West Gourmet is run by Valentine Kitamura, who has been the owner since 2020.
Kitamura is also one of the company's skilled teaching chefs, according to a post on the company's Facebook page.
If you're hoping to up your culinary game, EWG offers some seriously gourmet cooking classes. Just look at the line-up they have prepared for the next few weeks:
Tickets to the cooking classes range from $90 to $100 a head, and allow entry into an evening of learning how to prepare the titular dish(es) through demonstration by one of EWG's professional chefs.
"We are so excited about our cooking classes coming up in September! So many choices, so many new menus!" reads a recent post. "Summer was slow but we're coming back with a bang this fall and can't wait to see you here!"
EWG also offers kids and teens cooking classes, in case the parents ever find themselves wanting a break from the kitchen.
You can find EWG's cooking classes on EventBrite or through their Facebook page.
