Brisk Cafe’s perfectly authentic Persian breakfast

If you’re hoping to expand your breakfast palette there is no place better to check out than Brisk Cafe.

While most of the menu is, admittedly, Western-inspired, the cafe has a handful of offerings that you wouldn’t find on the menu of your local Cora’s.

These include the Persian breakfast (which includes traditional cheese, clotted cream, honey, olive, egg, walnut, tomato, and more), Persian spaghetti, Kalapch dishes, and dolma, to name just a few.

When we went we tried the Persian breakfast, it came with the Brisk special sandwich (sausage, jambon, cheese, and potato chips), tea with a sugar stick AKA Nabat, and a lavender latte.

All the dishes were to die for, and the generous amount of tea was the perfect pairing for the meal.

Brisk Cafe is located in Coquitlam at #111, 1190 Pinetree Way, and is open from 9am to 10pm on weekdays and Saturday, and from 9am to 8pm on Sundays.
